EY-Parthenon

‍Has integrated EY’s Strategy and Transactions division to provide end-to-end deal support, delivering a unified approach to M&A strategy, valuations, and post-deal integration.

Alvarez & Marsal

‍Has strengthened its transaction advisory group (TAG) capabilities across the globe with 41 senior hires, including 16 Managing Directors. The aim is to bring deep operational and industry expertise across Healthcare, Automotive, Industrials, Retail, and Financial Services. Several of the key European hires include:

• Simon Oertel who joins to build operational due diligence capabilities across the DACH region, focusing on Industrials.
• David Pérez has been hired in the Private Equity Performance Improvement (PEPI) practice to support across broader Europe from Stockholm and enhance operational and commercial advisory services within the Healthcare & Life Sciences sector.
• Pierre de Raismes now leads the Private Equity Financial Services team, strengthening the firm’s commitment to commercial due diligence and post-deal transformation capabilities.
• Kathryn Jörgensen joins the Denmark team to lead expansion across the Nordic region, focusing on due diligence and transaction advisory services across a range of industries.

• ‍‍Announces the hires of Simon Hemsley and Michael Callow, bringing experience in commercial due diligence, strategy and value creation projects in IT Services and Financial Services industries.

• ‍‍Welcomes new Partners Huw Thomas and Matthew Davy to the UK team, focusing on Media & Electronics, TMT, Entertainment, Sports and Private Equity. Together, they bring expertise in corporate growth strategies, value creation and commercial due diligence.

AlixPartners

• Has appointed Estelle Fornallaz in the Paris office to strengthen advisory capabilities across the investment lifecycle from due diligence to exit planning for Private Equity and Retail clients.

OC&C Strategy Consultants

• ‍‍Hires Ben Gregory to support the TMT sector in the London office, bringing significant experience in strategy and the deal cycle, including commercial due diligence and post-deal value creation planning.

FTI Consulting

• Invests in its operational transformation offering, delivering integrated commercial and operational due diligence and value creation across the UK, Netherlands, and EMEA. Sebastien Flageollet joins to strengthen the Business Transformation practice in the Netherlands and across Europe.
• Within the London team, we have seen the appointment of four senior hires including Jan Timmermann, Malvinder Singh, Rakhi Williams and Irina Bakanova. Together, they will be crucial in strengthening capabilities across operational performance, transformation and value creation for global Private Equity and Financial Services clients.

• Hires Thibault Lebreton, to strengthen its Private Capital practice in London, bringing experience within commercial due diligence and growth strategy in the Software and Tech services sectors.

Strategic Gears

• Has onboarded Richard Parkin to lead the London office and the firm’s newly established commercial due diligence offering across B2B services, Industrials, and the Automotive industries.

PwC/Strategy&

• PwC appoints Hugh Man as Partner in Corporate Finance who will be advising on complex, high-value transactions, bringing deep insight in the Insurance and Financial Services sector.
• Strategy& has hired Florian Mayr in their Deals Strategy practice in Germany, leading M&A strategy, commercial due diligence and value creation projects across Energy Infrastructure & Cleantech.

EFESO Management Consultants

• Appoints Jamie Loder to lead the Private Equity practice, supporting across pre-and-post deal work from due diligence to carve-outs and value creation.

Interpath

• Continues to invest in it’s UK Advisory business, with the additions of Rob Connold and Neil McBride as Managing Directors. Together, they will continue to strengthen capabilities in Interpath’s Deals practice across M&A, Transaction Services, Debt Advisory and Integration & Separation.

• Adds Scott Pinsonnault and John Shephard to its Turnaround and Restructuring team, focusing on Energy and Renewables as they navigate heightened investment in this sector.

• Bolstered US operations with Enoch Minn, bringing significant experience in M&A commercial advisory and leading commercial due diligence for Retail and Consumer products.

Alvarez & Marsal

• Has expanded in Canada with Matti Keskikyla as Managing Director, strengthening operational due diligence and value-creation offerings. The addition of Richard Chen has been critical to the PEPI practice, to lead, build-out and grow their US operational due diligence capabilities.

• ‍Further welcomes Brad Kuntz to expand private equity capabilities in the Americas, bringing deep expertise in advising private equity clients, specialising in strategy and commercial due diligence.

Asia-Pacific and the Middle East

FTI Consulting

• Expands their Corporate Finance & Restructuring segment with the appointment of Hitesh Tak as Senior Managing Director in Singapore. Mr. Tak will be pivotal in enhancing Southeast Asia expertise in performance improvement and value creation.

Alvarez & Marsal

• Has launched new offices in Tokyo and Osaka in Japan. Key hires include Daisaku Nonaka as Japan’s Global TAG leader, alongside Teppei Matsuda and Takeshi Kon. Together, the team are strengthening capabilities within transaction advisory and corporate finance.
